Openbank Literature Awards by Vanity Fair

Books were the protagonists at the presentation of the first Openbank Literature Awards by Vanity Fair, which we manage from dissimility.

The initiative is the result of the promotion of reading and the love for books that Openbank and Vanity Fair started with the creation of the “Nota al Pie” reading club.

The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s stunning Ritz hotel hosted the awards event and after-party.

Ana García-Siñeriz Alonso and Boris Izaguirre were the luxury presenters of the gala.

We manage all the logistics, technical direction, decoration and production of the event.

We design and produce the trophy-sculptures by Lola Rúa Ayllón, with whom we will continue to make new projects soon.

We are fortunate to have some marvelous presenters representing the literary culture of our country, such as Elvira Sastre, Virginia Feito, Luis Arroyo, Sandra Barneda, Maria Hesse and Lucia Taboada.

Among the award winners were: Riki Blanco, with the best cover design; Fernando Navarro, best new author; Juan Gómez Bárcena, best work of Spanish fiction; Carlos Granés, best work of Spanish non-fiction or “La Puerta de Tannhäuser”, as best bookstore.

The career of the writer Enrique Vila-Matas was recognized.

An evening narrated through music, the faces of the cultural environment, an exceptional catering and the final party. Thanks to Condé Nast and Openbank for letting us continue writing this story with you!
