Oracle Behavioral economics

We finish today with the last digital event of the week! And we are going to talk about “Behavioral economics”, humanizing the digital relationship with customers” . A digital meeting of @oracle where the keys to innovation based on useful knowledge, autonomous data systems and Artificial Intelligence have been addressed.

Two great market experts were present: on the one hand, the experience of BBVA, where Alvaro Gaviño, head of “Behavioral Economics” at global level, spoke about the role that Oracle’s data analytics technology has played in the bank. Also with the presence of Mario Alonso Puig, doctor and expert in neuroleadership, human behavior, biases and emotions, who spoke to us about the mechanisms of our brain and how emotion and reason act in our decision making.

People make more than 35,000 decisions a day, so understanding how they are made becomes a key element in humanizing the relationship with customers.

Behavioral economics is the discipline that combines the principles of psychology, sociology and economics to determine what happens in the marketplace in order to understand and predict people’s financial decisions.

At a technological level, it is a predictive analytics solution to gain efficiency in advertising campaigns, through on-line channels, in such a way that ads are personalized for each individual based on the emotions and cognitive biases that are present in customers’ purchasing decisions.
